Marriage, Anointed to Succeed

In Genesis 1:28, God does something that guarantees a couple’s assured success. He blesses the marriage union of Adam and Eve.

“Then God blessed them....”. Gen. 1:28.

To be blessed by God is more than a term of endearment. Blessings bring empowerment which aides in the success of a married couple. Bless (heb. bārakh) or “blessings” presuppose the relationship between God and the persons who are being blessed. Intriguingly, this example is expressed throughout the patriarchal narratives. God’s blessings mean proliferation which equates to the process of reproducing, increasing, abundance, explosion and success.

Although the anointing to succeed is provided by God himself, it still requires an agreement from a marriage team to walk in it. The problem for many couples is they don't know about it, others don't care about it and still you have those who just don't want to stay with it anymore, period.

The challenges to maintain a healthy and successful marriage continues to increase. Day and night, the pressure to stay or leave a partner, especially for someone else, seems to abound. And might I add, apart from Christ being at the center of any marriage those challenges will remain. Placing the emphasis on a love affair with Christ and not just a random lover will truly make things better. Making him a central part of any marriage gives a couple greater hope of success.

Every marriage team should know that God has blessed or rather empowered them to walk successfully in an ordained purpose. The blessing is categorically an anointing placed on marriages to succeed in whatever endeavor a couple chooses to walk out, together. Each marriage is equipped with all that is necessary for a couple to accomplish in whatever task God has put in their hands.. The real success for every couple depends on their desire to walk together under the "anointing" placed on the covenant of marriage. So, walk it out! Stop letting everything that equates to nothing get in the way of an anointed and successful life of matrimony. Remember, your marriage is anointed to succeed!
